Wild-type strain YJH40 (WT) and strains containing the indicated mutation were spotted in 10-fold serial dilutions onto SD containing (+Asn) and lacking (-Asn) asparagine plates and allowed to grow at 30°C for 3 days. The strains containing each mutation are as follows: asn1Δ: YKJ7; asn2Δ: YKJ9; asn1Δ asn2Δ: YKJ10.
