Phylogenetic relationship between isolated bacteria strains from feces (JHP, horse; JN, wild roe deer) and reference strains based on the 16S rRNA gene sequences of phylum (A) Actinobacteria, (B) Firmicutes, and (C) Proteobacteria. Each isolated strain is represented in blue and red for horse and wild roe deer, respectively. Phylogenetic tree construction was accomplished by using three methods: maximum likelihood, neighbor-joining, and minimum evolution. Bootstrap values (1,000 iterations) obtained using the three methods were in the order of neighbor-joining/minimum evolution/maximum likelihood, and the values representing above 50% are presented. The accession number of each clone or strain is indicated in parentheses.
